Linda Jo Stern

I moved to Fort Bragg with my husband in June 2016. Previously we lived in Boston, Mozambique, and Oklahoma City.

I’ve been traveling since I was 5 and followed in my father’s photographic footsteps by quietly taking photos of people in their home environment, seeking their untouched expressiveness. I’ve lived in 5 countries, 7 states and worked in 10 other countries. I am moved by the women I have met all over the world; they have a connectedness to each other, regardless of culture, language, or tradition. I want to celebrate these women by taking photos to bring the world closer together.
